History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He tends to his Farmer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lewis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
