History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Thomas was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Knight. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Thomas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Clerebold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: An older woman who wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a falchion, but if one is not available she will default to her hand crossbow, she is not a threatening figure. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. This blue eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Ida is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. A true patriot, Ida would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the west to a Mayor, Ida learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mayor for hire.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
