History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Servant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
