His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Being a Stableman kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is unsatisfied with his job
