Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Maynild was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
