History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Kody was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Carter. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Eloise was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
