History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
