Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bernard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Knight business.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Sailor father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
