Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Robert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
