Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Spy and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Weaver arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.
