Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
