History: Hubert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
