When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She got into the Beggar business at a young age. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Diggory grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peter was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
