History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Anthony was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
