History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Tailor, her father struggled to pay the bills. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Susannah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Elysande took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
