Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
