History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ralf grew up listening to his father's many stories. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: She was born in the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She tends to her Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: Adelaide is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Adelaide and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.
