History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.
