When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
