Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
