History: Born in the south to a Roofer, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has worked as a Roofer like his father before him.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.
