Personality: Dean wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Dean is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Geoffrey was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and balancing his hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and wears a black armored body suit, with a simple grey line shooting up and back down. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She has wavy red hair. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she seems to be bored by most things
