Description: 5'3" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her glaive. Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has blue eyes and a blue hat with a brown feather.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Susannah reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He carries a battered shortbow and tarnished scimitar as well. His hair is cut close to his head. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Heward was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Heward was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears dull blue sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed pickaxe, just in case. His hair is long and black with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull green iron scale mail. He carries with him a set of kukris, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His black hair is braided into rings. His ears are large.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and revenge
