History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At some point she was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.
