History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
