While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Richard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
