Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avelina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Avelina's homeland. Avelina decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Avelina and her spouse have recently divorced.

The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
