Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His golden hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Adelard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Adelard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Adelard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his father struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Anthony took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to find somewhere to settle down
