Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Eva's homeland. Eva decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She now mingles about in high society.
