Upon awakening, Hugh discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Heward has worked very hard to control his curse. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Sarah hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and her religion dominates her actions

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Guard, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
