History: Born in the west to a Architect, Gerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Architect. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Architect for the past few years.

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He is physically well-built. He wears his silver hair down. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a great chef.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
