Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears baggy black pantaloons and a pastel scarf. She has moderate length black hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Yvonne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends
