Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is brown and curly. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Clerebold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Clerebold grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Clerebold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He tends to wear a large yellow jacket. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often

Description: She is a husky woman, who typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull blue iron scale mail. Her head has been shaved. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The war was a terrible time for her, and Avelina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels kind of lost in life
