Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He is a Body Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Balimaar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Body Guard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to protect his home

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Guy was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
