History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
