History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Melissa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Melissa was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
