History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Oriel took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gifted student she started as a Merchant, but she got bored and became a Bather. She tends to her Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Courier; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
