History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dean studied abroad. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
