History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: The child of a Roofer, who enjoyed hunting, Aline was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
