When her mother died while fighting giants, the young Emmeline began to lead the lost caravan. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hadwisa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
