History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Hadwisa was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Hadwisa took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. John was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and to find somewhere to settle down
