History: He was born in the east. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
