History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jane and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Agnes hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Agnes was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
