History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
