Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
