History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Eloise lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She struck the Soapmaker job and began her own company from there.
