History: He got into the Roofer business at a young age. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student she started as a Shepherd, but she got bored and became a Bookbinder. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born in the south. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Ernest has worked very hard to control his curse. He became a Scribe soon after.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
