History: She comes from a rich western family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He now owns his own business.
