History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lewis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
