History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gomory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gomory. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Hugolina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
